Dalrymple Celebrates Completion of New Bismarck State College Building Projects

Gov. Jack Dalrymple today joined state and local officials in celebrating the completion of Bismarck State College's (BSC) new Communications and Creative Arts Center, a state-of-the-art facility designed to accommodate the college's growing student population.

Dalrymple recommended and the 2013 Legislature approved nearly $13 million in funding for the project. An additional $665,000 was funded by BSC through donations and matching funds, including $83,000 in matching funds from the North Dakota Higher Education Challenge Fund.

"North Dakota's educational system is one of the best in the nation and we are committed to ensuring our colleges have what they need to help our students achieve their full potential," said Dalrymple. "Building high-tech facilities like the Communications and Creative Arts Center is essential to providing our students with a quality education and the skills they need to meet the demands of North Dakota's future workforce."
